Bon Odori dances brighten up summers all over Japan with songs and dances unique to each region. The sight of men and women of all ages in yukatas dancing in a large circle around a tower is very captivating, and the joy of the dancers in the circle is transmitted to the spectators, giving Bon Odori a mysterious charm to both dancers and spectators.
The largest Bon Odori festival in Chuo Ward will be held at Hamacho Park near Ito Ryokan from August 22rd to 23th. Come dance with us!
